It's been a really long gap now since I posted last....everyday I thought I would write and everyday I postponed it....not that i didn't have any topics....actually there were lots that were happening.....but just didn't get that drive to write about something.
Finally I made up my mind today to write something.....Lets start with Gujarat.
Few days back Tehelka did a sting operation on few people of power in Gujarat....unaware that their comments are being recorded they gave out the fact that the administration was complicit in the killing of muslims in the post Godhra riots....while giving credit to Mr. Narendra Modi for the developmental work that he has done in Gujarat.....I just can not accept the fact that someone who was responsible for killings of so many innocent muslims can still remain a chief minister....I hope in the coming assembly elections people do take his misdeeds too into account while giving their vote!!
While on the topic of the administrations complicity in breaking the law, I can not but help bringing up the topic of what happened in West Bengal last week.
It so happened that Ms. Mamata Banerjee's party TMC had called for West Bengal strike on an issue which is sub judice(seems like they just need an issue)....in the evening what I saw on television was shoking....the TMC workers trying to enforce the strike of maybe demonstrating were being chased by the CPM cadres(as the workers are called).....all this while the police were very much present there....in some cases the cadres actually snatched the batons from the policemen and chased and hit out at the TMC workers, hurting they maybe even critically!!....and they say that Kolkata is progressing!!
There was also another incident that happened while i was dithering about a new post....the youngest son of ex-CM(the 1st one) of Jharkhand was killed in an encounter by the naxalites...but more about it later...someone is waiting to read this so I am working againt a deadline......see you soon!!
